Michael Erkel, President of Erkel & Associates, announces the appointment of Jeff Hellerman as Director of Advertising with the firm.
Prior to joining Erkel & Associates, Hellerman served as graphic designer with Decipher Inc. providing advertising, game and packaging design. Other notable recent work includes Art Director for Racing Milestone, a Trader Publishing magazine and graphic designer with The Terry Group, an advertising agency. Hellerman was instrumental in the design of brochures, catalogues, posters, pamphlets, invitations and flyers as a graphic designer with University Publications for Old Dominion University.
While serving as graphic designer with The Terry Group in Virginia Beach, V.A., several of Hellerman’s projects focused on serving the needs of educational institutions. In an effort to increase enrollment and name recognition for these schools, Hellerman provided logo design, video productions, catalogues, direct mail marketing tools, informational television programs, brochures and multimedia presentations. Additionally, production of Career Focus magazine for Tidewater Community College boosted enrollment by over 17% in the semester following publication.
Hellerman earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Old Dominion University and currently resides in Charlottesville, V.A. Founded in 1985, Erkel & Associates specializes in advertising, design, web development and video production.
