The widely awarded Henkel Harris Portfolio, a compendium of their entire furniture line, has been chosen as one of only five nationwide recipients of the Silver Award for catalogues from SAPPI/Warren Paper Company. This international award is the highest level of appreciation for the printing industry and is regarded as the one of the finest award venues. Winners at this level must demonstrate the greatest technical care and execution throughout the print cycle. The design is pivotal to judging because the printing process must be adequately challenged.
This award follows a 2000 Gold Ink award for the same product. The Henkel Harris Portfolio, in its evolving designs, is the only piece to win the coveted Dillard/xpedx Class III Best In Show award twice for the same client. In 1992 Erkel Associates’ design won that award for the first time. In 1996, Erkel Associates won it again. Now for year 2000 the project has garnered international recognition.
